Department Information:
FUNCTION: To maintain and manage the parks and numerous facilities such as Fairchild Wheeler Golf Course, Wonderland of Ice, Beardsley Zoo, and Kennedy Stadium. Also, responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of street trees.

SERVICES PROVIDED:

* Maintain the 57 parks and playgrounds throughout the City.

* Manage the Beardsley Zoo;

* Schedule and operate the skating rink (Wonderland of Ice).

* Schedule tournaments at the golf course (Fairchild Wheeler).

* Schedule and book activities for Kennedy Stadium.

* Maintain and prune the trees along city streets.

PEOPLE SERVED: Residents of the City of Bridgeport as well as visitors.
